Product Review: sibu Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser

Lately I have been looking for a new facial cleanser that contains all natural products but wasn’t sure which one I should try!  As we all know anything we purchase that is all natural or organic is more expensive than those products that contain manufactured ingredients.  I didn't want to waste money on a product that I didn't like and ended up using only once.

When I received the offer  to conduct a product review for sibu Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser I was very excited and eager to try their product and jumped at the opportunity!

High in the Tibetan Himalayas (12,000 feet above sea level) grows a tiny but resilient fruit that resists the harsh weather conditions and high altitudes. The sea buckthorn berry fortifies itself against the elements by producing an array of powerful nutrients. With over 190 bioactive compounds, sea buckthorn is an unsurpassed source of Omegas 3, 6, and 9. And it's a rich source of the elusive essential fatty acid, Omega-7, an essential fatty acid vital to collagen production and healthy skin, hair and nails.

Product Claim:

This all-natural balancing facial cleanser gently removes dirt, impurities and make-up while maintaining a healthy balance in your skin without compromising its natural protective nutrients.
  • Leaves skin looking and feeling radiant and refreshed
  • Removes excess oil and impurities
  • Contains micro-particles for a gentle exfoliation
  • Great for removing make-up
  • Non-foaming gel formula for all skin types
Results:
I have been using this product as directed for the last 2 weeks as directed (once in the morning and once at night) I will have to say that all the above statements regarding this product have proven to be true from the first night I washed my face.

The consistency and feel of the gel formula and micro beads was gentle and soothing but I could feel the micro beads exfoliating my skin. The smell was also wonderful…cross between oranges and mangos. The smells were light and not over powering as some facial cleansers tend to be.

I was skeptical on the claim that it would remove make-up so I was pleasantly surprised that the makeup that had been wearing all day long came completely off with one application of the facial cleaner. (So long to all my makeup removal pads!)

After using this product, my face truly feels smooth and silky to the touch. There was a sense of radiance and my face definitely feels refreshed after each wash.

What surprised me the most:
The one thing that I was extremely happy about is that after using this product I noticed that my makeup stays and appears fresh throughout the day.  I don’t have that oily look to my face at the end of a long work day and I have not yet had to re-touch my makeup once during the day since I have been using this product. The true test of this will come in the summer time!

Summary:
Overall, I was very happy with this product. All there claims either met or exceeded my expectations and it is a product that I would recommend to others. I no longer have to spend additional money on makeup removal facial pads in conjunction with purchasing my facial cleaners and I now have a product that is all natural!

I feel is reasonable for the results. The only thing that I will say is that my eyes are sensitive and the directions say to use “a generous amount of facial cleaner.” The first application with a generous amount actually irritated my eyes slightly. On the next application I used about half and it was fine and didn’t bother my eyes at all.

Great Product and I  will be purchasing the Sea Buckthorn Rejuvenating Night Cream!
